Serving three primary markets – passenger vehicle, commercial truck, and off-highway equipment – Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.Position SummaryMain ResponsibilitiesAccounting and administration:Coordinate all finance and accounting operations including general ledger and tax, compliant with local GAAPEnsure all local obligations are metOversee statutory accounts, tax and audit activities, managing relationships with various stakeholdersManagement and financial:Implement and maintain an effective control framework (SOX), KPIsGuarantee compliance with Group finance policies review high-risk accounts through monthly reconciliation process (reserves, inventory valuation, BS reviews…)Bridge the gap between statutory and management reportingExecute detailed financial analysis for the BUSupport the local GM to elaborate strategy, implement action plans and monitor achievements through local KPIs. Support Business cases development and presentationMonitor margin levels and provide insightful recommendations to the General ManagerInteract with internal external auditorsDrive the development of the BI tool for key indicators reporting Sales analysisBudgeting Reporting activities:Manage monthly and quarterly reporting according to US GAAPPrepare the annual budget mid-term plan as well as the monthly and weekly forecast processes in line with the Group calendarPrepare present the monthly financial results and variance analysis to the management teamJob Position Requirements4-6+ years of experience in a similar roleUniversity degree in Finance, Economics, Business or equivalent; higher vocational education is a plus (CPA)Experience working in an international, matrix organization; preferably in a sales and/or production environment. Experience in auditing is a plusStrong competencies in accounting, finance, budgeting; previous experience and accounting backgroundKnowledge of US GAAP and SOX principles would be a plusAbility to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projectionsStrong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsAdvanced knowledge of Excel; experience with HFM, Smartview would be a plusSoft SkillsMotivated, self-starter, flexible, hardworking and able to function effectively under tight deadlines and stressTeam player and team builderStrong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
