We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Platform Documentation Intern to support our Platform Engineering team. If you enjoy turning complex technical topics into clear and accessible content in the GitOps and AI age, this internship is a great fit.
In this role, you will help document our cloud-native architecture, internal tools, deployment patterns, and operational workflows. You will work closely with engineers, SREs, and product teams, contributing to better knowledge-sharing across the organization.

Internship duration and compensation:
* The internship duration is 1 year, structured as a 6-month initial period followed by a 6-month extension based on performance.
* Reimbursement: 1000€/gross/month + meal vouchers (8.00€/working day). After the first 6 months, the reimbursement increases to 1250€/gross/month.
What you will do
Reporting to the Platform Engineering Manager, you will be involved in different activities such as:
* Helping to design and implementing a documentation-as-code workflow integrating static site generators, templates, automation, AI tools.
* Helping create high-quality, engaging, internal technical documentation, learning materials, and visual technical materials combining human and AI generated content.
* Contributing to clear and concise explanations of engineering concepts (Kubernetes, cloud architecture, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling).
* Contributing to keeping documentation accurate, up to date, and easy to find.
Technical Profile
* Basic understanding of cloud computing and DevOps concepts (e.g., AWS, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD).
* Basic familiarity with modern documentation formats and tools (e.g., Markdown, Confluence, Docs-as-code workflow).
* Ability to create diagrams and visual artifacts (e.g.,, C4).
* Basic familiarity with one or more coding/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
* Basic familiarity with using the Linux shell and command-line Git.
* Familiarity with using AI tools in technical writing.
Personal Profile
* Strong communication skills and interest in simplifying complex topics.
* Curious mindset and eagerness to continuously learn, experiment, and understand how systems work.
* Attention to detail, structured thinking.
* Proactive in gathering information and checking accuracy.
* Willingness to collaborate with engineers, ask questions, and iterate based on feedback.
* Good command of written and spoken English.
