Experteer Overview In this role you will join the Machine Engineering Team to shape the functional design and control systems of gas turbines. You will ensure safety and performance requirements align with codes, standards, and project needs, while coordinating internal and external stakeholders. You will manage the control system engineering process across hardware and software delivery, FATs, and tendering, and support commissioning and service activities. The position involves travel and collaboration with cross‐functional teams to drive reliable turbine operation and upgrade programs.

Optimize functional and safety requirements in line with codes, standards, upgrade packages and project needs
Coordinate the gas turbine control system engineering process with internal and external parties
Oversee hardware and software delivery milestones and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with control system suppliers
Lead the control system tendering process and prepare purchase specifications
Support commissioning and service teams on gas turbine operation and control system applications
Responsabilità Degree in Engineering or comparable education in mechanical/electrical/automation areas
Knowledge of process control principles and methods
Proficiency in gas turbine operation and control fundamentals
Experience with industrial control systems (ABB Symphony+/AC800, Siemens T3000, Emerson Ovation) is preferred
Experience with gas turbines or rotating machinery is an asset
Experience working in project teams
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Fluent in Italian and English
Willingness to travel up to 30% (Italy and abroad)
