PpThe Utilities and Facilities Manager ensures the reliability, efficiency, and compliance of all utilities and facilities within the plant. This includes managing utilities such as water, electricity, HVAC, compressed air, and waste management, along with facilities services like building maintenance, cleaning, site security, and other essential services. The role focuses on performance-based contracts, cost optimization, and ensuring alignment with regulatory and company standards. /p h3Main Responsibilities Scope /h3 ul liManage and maintain all utilities (water, electricity, HVAC, compressed air) and facilities (building maintenance, cleaning, security). /li liOversee performance-based contracts for utilities and facilities services to ensure cost-effective and compliant operations. /li liEnsure regulatory compliance for all utilities and facilities, including environmental, safety, and quality standards. /li liImplement initiatives to improve reliability and energy efficiency, meeting aggressive cost‑saving targets. /li liConduct audits and inspections to ensure the optimal performance of utilities and facilities. /li liCollaborate with the Asset Manager to align utilities and facilities operations with production needs. /li liDevelop and maintain a preventive maintenance program for utilities and facilities according to global policies. /li liImplement Global Standards and oversee BCOS work processes, particularly within utilities as a dedicated cell. /li liSupport projects related to the expansion, upgrading, or modification of utilities and facilities infrastructure. /li /ul h3Education, Language, Skills Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field. /li li3+ years of experience managing utilities and facilities in manufacturing (preferably food industry). /li liStrong knowledge of performance-based contracting, utility optimization, and cost-saving strategies. /li liProven experience with preventive maintenance for utilities and facilities. /li liProficient in CMMS for tracking and managing maintenance activities. /li liFluent in local language and English; additional languages are a plus. /li /ul h3Additional Considerations Or Comments /h3 ul liExperience in managing large-scale utilities and facilities projects. /li liFocus on energy efficiency and cost-saving initiatives. /li liAbility to manage contractors and internal service providers to maintain high standards. /li /ul h3LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES PERSONAL STYLE /h3 ul liExcellent communication (written and verbal) skills both upward and downward. /li liWorks well under pressure, enabling his/her team to thrive under all circumstances. /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. /li liComfortable with managing positive change. /li liSelf-starter and results-driven mindset. /li /ul pAt Barry Callebaut, we are committed to Diversity Inclusion.
