* The Business
The Caterpillar Earthmoving division, part of the Construction Industries Segment, is responsible for the products at the core of the company, including the machines upon which it was founded. These iconic machines are used to build the basic infrastructure that enables higher standards of living so people have access to water, electricity, roads, bridges, hospitals, schools and so much more. The division currently sits at 9400 global employees across 12 locations. * The Position
The Human Resources Manager for Caterpillar Paving Products Italy in the Earthmoving division will serve as the HR Business Partner to Operations in Cattolica and Minerbio, with additional responsibility to support organizations as well as other business unit employees assigned to those facilities. This individual will lead the local HR team to support and enable business success by developing and executing people strategies to attract, motivate and retain employees and provide for a positive Caterpillar experience. In partnership with the facility manager and leadership team, he / she will lead change efforts around business and culture transformation initiatives. Additionally, he / she will provide coaching and guidance to leaders in building leadership capabilities, as well as developing employees. Finally, the HR Manager will administer HR process and practices that are aligned with Caterpillar policies and local requirements, as well as negotiate and maintain compliance with labor agreements.
* Requirements
* 6+ years of relevant human resources and / or leadership experience in manufacturing in a global company
* University degree in related field
* Fluent English
* Demonstrated leadership, motivational and problem-solving skills along with good human relations and communications skills to maintain cooperative work relationship with others inside and outside the facility.
* Experience in leading a positive culture and employee engagement.
* Influence and coach facility leaders.
* Strong business and financial acumen necessary for the role.
* Experience working with a production workforce and local labor unions.
