We are seeking a Ground Station Engineer to be involved in major projects in the space sector.
Description
Background:
* University degree preferably in the fields of Aerospace/Space Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering or Computer Science and Engineering
Skills
* Experience designing and building RF communication systems;
* Competence in IP networking concepts;
* Working knowledge of Linux operating system;
* Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems;
* Integration and test of hardware systems;
* Experience with RF, electrical, and networking test equipment (spectrum analyzers, vector analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.);
* Field support;
* Full professional proficiency in the English language is mandatory;
* High motivation, proactive working approach and strong sense of responsibility.
Tasks
* Assimilate the Ground Station documentation about design, procurement, production, integration and installation;
* Participation in Ground Station acceptance phase;
* Participation in Remote Ground Station acceptance phase;
* Understanding of the Ground Station design (including software);
* Understanding of the Remote Ground Station service;
* Support to the GS AIV team for the GS Integration activities.
