PpbLocation: /b Lombardy, ideally Milan or Bergamo areas /p pbWho will you be working with? /b Evident Inspection Technologies, a Wabtec company, is a world leader in the manufacture of innovative inspection equipment used in industrial and research applications across aerospace, power generation, petrochemical, civil infrastructure, automotive, and consumer products industries. /p pbHow will you make a difference? /b As bField Service Engineer /b you will participate in installation and maintenance activities of large NDT solutions at customer sites and execute feasibility studies for new applications. /p pbWhat will your typical day look like? /b /p ul liFine tuning and optimization of PLCs programs and HMIs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, and/or others) /li liActive participation in the installation of new systems with the project team, supporting adjustment and testing of automation software and related hardware /li liSupervise and implement automation projects /li liPropose and integrate developments and innovations in system automation /li liSupervise, from the technological direction standpoint, developments on the automation platforms /li liUnderstand application requirements of various technologies /li liProvide maintenance training to customers /li liParticipate in the design of electrical plans for the automation part /li liSupport after‑sales service activities /li liBe present on site during installations /li liPerform feasibility studies supported by NDT specialists in Evident Integration Centre in Opera (MI) /li liRepresent a PoC for customers for maintenance activities and problem resolution /li liPerform any other related task requested by the immediate superior /li /ul pbWhat do we want to know about you? /b /p ul liBachelor’s degree in Mechatronic / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering /li liExperience in programming industrial and automation equipment or systems installation /li liProfessional knowledge of English and Italian (French is an asset) /li liBasic knowledge of robotic programming and C++/C# would be an asset /li liBasic knowledge of how to perform maintenance on electromechanical systems /li liKnowledge of NDT, ultrasound or eddy current would be an asset /li liCustomer oriented and capable of delivering trainings /li liCapability to work independently, organized and methodical /li liInterpersonal skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team /li /ul pAvailability to travel up to 50% in EMEA, for about 2 weeks monthly in a row when necessary. /p pLegal authorization to work in EU is required.
