The Marketing Specialist works closely with the Marketing Manager to plan, execute and manage within respective country/region all local marketing activities.
This role will help develop and deliver local marketing activities that support the local sales organization by creating demand (leads) that will help to acquire new customers, retain and grow existing customers and deliver growth in revenue. The specialist will develop a deep understanding of the local ecosystem including the channel and field priorities to help define a local marketing plan including channel marketing plans to support growth objectives. They will work closely with the marketing manager, local sales, the marketing manager, channel sales and the global marcom team for designing integrated campaigns for the local market. These campaigns will include co‑marketing activities with channel partners and will be supported from creation to completion. This role will be constantly interacting with the local sales teams and channel partners, including regular participation in team calls, in person meetings and planning sessions.
Key responsibilities
* Participation in the budget and marketing planning for the year including co‑marketing plan development for channel partners
* Resource planning and budget control
* Development and implementation of local marketing activities according to the Corporate Guidelines and in line with local sales plans
* Generation of qualified end customer leads through marketing campaigns
* Management and success control of these campaigns using the CRM system
* Organization of trade fairs and events as well as on‑site representation
* Media/Press work – touchpoint for local media, develop a media plan including SoMe activities
Constant interaction with the marketing manager to ensure compliance with the corporate marketing and communication plan. They will constantly monitor the campaigns and their results and ensure budget alignment and regular ROI verification
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or relevant field of study.
Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing/ team management in North America, ideally within a multinational company.
