The role involves reviewing welding procedures, inspecting welds, coordinating NDT techniques, and ensuring compliance throughout fabrication and construction, candidate is tasked for. /p h3General Description of Role and Responsibilities /h3 h3Welding Inspection /h3 ul liReview and verify Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and welder qualifications. /li liConduct fit up and visual inspections before, during, and after welding. /li liMonitor welding parameters, joint preparations, consumables, and interpass temperature control. /li liEnsure welding is performed according to approved procedures, drawings, and standards (e.g., ASME, AWS D1.1, API 1104). /li liIssue weld maps, inspection reports, and maintain traceability of welds. /li /ul h3NDT Coordination and Execution /h3 ul liSchedule and coordinate required NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT, VT) according to the Inspection and Test Plan (ITP). /li liWitness and verify NDT results conducted by third-party or in-house technicians. /li liInterpret and evaluate test results to ensure defect‑free welds and compliance. /li liReview NDT reports, radiographic films, and documentation for completeness and accuracy. /li /ul h3Non-Conformance Control /h3 ul liIdentify and report welding and NDT‑related non‑conformances. /li liParticipate in root cause analysis and support corrective/preventive actions. /li liFollow up on repair welding, re-inspection, and documentation closure. /li /ul h3Documentation Reporting /h3 ul liMaintain accurate records of weld logs, inspection reports, NDT results, and traceability documents. /li liPrepare daily and weekly reports for submission to QC Manager or client representatives. /li liSupport compilation of final quality dossiers and handover documentation. /li /ul h3Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills /h3 ul liBachelor Degree from an accredited university. /li liWork experience of five (5) years in the sought discipline after earning the university degree. /li liCandidates should have at least the last 3-5 years spent on offshore projects. /li liExcellent spoken and written English including proven ability to write reports. /li liStrong understanding of welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, SAW), materials, and codes (API, ASME, AWS). /li liFamiliarity with fabrication yard or site activities including pipelines, jackets, and topsides. /li liAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, isometrics, and weld maps. /li liSkilled in evaluating radiographic films and NDT techniques. /li liStrong attention to detail, documentation discipline, and safety focus. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
