Overview

Prime Video team is looking for an analytical and creative candidate to join our content licensing team as a Program Manager supporting Prime Video Content Acquisitions. In this role, you will translate complex agreements with content providers into standardized metadata, manage vendors, and build trustworthy processes to streamline delivery of data to internal Amazon teams and systems downstream.

The ideal candidate enjoys defining new processes, successfully and dependably delivering results, and collaborating cross‑functionally to support automation and scale. They also roll up their sleeves to get the job done. The program manager should be highly proficient in Excel, have strong attention to detail with polished communication skills, and ideally come from a project/program management, finance, accounting, or digital media operations background.

Key Responsibilities
* Interpret terms from third‑party SVOD content licensing agreements into standardized metadata for internal consumption
* Set up new third‑party partners for payments
* Manage title schedules and communicate key dates to stakeholders
* Respond to third‑party partner payment inquiries while working with accounts payable to resolve
* Collaborate with multiple internal teams to drive process improvements
* Educate peers and management on processes and expectations to meet department goals and objectives
* Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Develop and implement AI‑powered strategies to enhance operational efficiency and eliminate manual processes
* Leverage AI and machine learning to streamline and improve the efficiency of CAM PM processes and day‑to‑day activities
* Design and optimize AI prompts specifically for extracting terms and information from contractual SVOD license agreements
A Day in the Life
* Update and maintain a territory‑specific third‑party SVOD licensing pipeline database by tracking deal status, monitoring publishing deadlines, and updating payment schedules
* Manage content partnerships through monthly check‑ins for title launch management and accurate payments
* Troubleshoot digital content issues reported by customers through our support platform
* Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to validate contract data entries for accurate revenue recognition and billing
* Partner with engineering and product teams to implement system optimizations to decrease user error rates
About the Team

The Prime Video (PV) global SVOD service continues to grow in scope and complexity each year. Content Acquisition Management (CAM) meets this challenge through innovative deal creation and dynamic partnerships with internal business partners. Meanwhile, the impacts of a changing industry and global business require more dedicated support than ever. CAM Program Management (CAM PM) is the dedicated team that bridges the relationships within Amazon, as well as with our video Content Providers. CAM PM handles the daily operations needed to execute contract terms and spearheads improvement programs to steer the organization toward automated, end‑to‑end deal lifecycle management.

Basic Qualifications
* 3+ years of program or project management experience
* 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
* Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
* Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
* Experience working cross‑functionally with tech and non‑tech teams
Preferred Qualifications
* 3+ years of driving end‑to‑end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
* 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
* Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
* Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Compensation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
