S&T Bank Summer Internship Program: May 20, 2026 -August 7, 2026S&T Bank’s Summer Internship Program is a compensated professional learning experience that offers meaningful, practical, real-life experience.Summer internship participants will:* Explore careers in the Banking industry,* Participate in volunteer opportunities,* Join Q&A sessions with Bank leaders and executives,* Connect through team building activities and much more!Hours may be determined based on the needs of the department but will not exceed 29 hours per week.Internship Program Starting Rate: $13.00/hour**Function**: Works under the direction of department management, in a capacity of departmental backup and support, performing assigned duties. **Duties and Responsibilities:*** Assist in developing and maintaining automation scripts (using Power Automate or similar scripting languages) to automate routine system administrative tasks such as auto-assignment of role-based access system.* Assist in analyzing existing manual workflows and propose automated alternatives to reduce human error and repetitive tasks.* Assist in designing and deploying “bots” to handle high-volume and repetitive tasks that the vendor software doesn’t support natively.* Assist with writing documentation of automation scripts and processes.* Work as part of a team on projects.* Possess a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Operates PC equipment as needed to process information, prepare reports and perform research.* Performs research and/or analysis on special projects, as assigned.* Maintains a good working relationship with bank employees.* Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as motivated to work as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn, the organization.* Performs additional duties as required.**Education:**Requires a high school diploma or equivalent education. In pursuit of a four-year degree in business, or related.**Experience:**Up to one-year general experience preferred.**Physical Demands:**Use of manual dexterity skills for typing and data entry up to 60% of the business day. Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18”-20” for computer work. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 lbs.
