Location: Monzambano (MN), Italy Job Family : Quality Job Type : Regular Posted : Apr 30, 2025 Job ID: 55345 Job Description: For our Engeneering Material Group, specifically our NVH (Noise Vibration & Harshnes) Division - we are looking for a Quality Leader for our Plant in Monzambano, focused on rubber to metal and steer by wire devices. - The Quality Leader reports hierarchically to the Plant Manager and functionally to the Division Quality Manager; - He/She provides leadership and management of the quality, at the facility, in accordance with all applicable company policies and procedures; - His/her responsability is to ensure that quality, policies, plans, standards and requirements are met at the facility, maintaining and improving quality and to guarantee that quality standards are met also in relation to new product development and major product modifications; - The Quality Leader manages quality staff and coordinates quality engineers activity and interfaces routinely with all plant functions, customer and suppliers. - Assures quality requirements are adequately defined and met at all functional levels to permit appropriate quality planning and verification of standards; - Provides quality - oriented leadership in achieving facility objectives, aiming at the highest degree of customer service, quality, cost reduction, productivity, while enhancing health and security standards; - Develops and implements system to proactively plan, implement and track quality management system and processes; - Interfaces with internal and external customer to provide comprehensive responses and technical assistance regarding quality management system and/or products; - Leads plant in error-proofing and detection improvement initiatives through PDCA approach, identifying root causes and promoting preventive and corrective action planning; develops and implements internal and external auditing initiatives; - Champions and sponsors continuous improvement projects by coaching plant teams in effective customer complaint, problem solving, and verification activities; - Provides high level of technical and operational recommendations in meeting material control, product quality and customer service goals; - Communicates customer, regulatory and organizational requirements to assure product quality, contract compliance and customer satisfaction; - Implements the performance measurements necessary to effectively evaluate organizational performance and trends in product quality, services, customer satisfaction and the cost of poor quality; - Uses the results of performance evaluation to target improvement efforts; - Shares “best practice” methods and ideas with other staff members; - Lead activities pertaining to the selection and approval of suppliers; - Assess supplier capabilities and monitor supplier quality to ensure desired levels of performance; - Lead internal and and external audits. - Master Degree in management engineering or related technical discipline; - Effective written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts, effective facilitation and coaching skills, trustable internal consultant; - Self motivated, result driven, analytical skills, problem solving skills; - Managerial experience, preferibly in automotive sector, with demonstrated ability to provide leadership and motivation to employees both when supervising directly and in virtual/projects teams; - Good knowledge of Italian and English; - Knowledge of automotive core tools systems such as APQP, MSA ed SPC &IMDS; - Familiar with mechanical design and with rubber plastic moulding, assembly lines, electronic board assembly, mechanical processing, die-casting and plastic injection, sintering; - Familiar with total quality concepts, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and IATF 16949 procedures (a plus VDA 6.3); - Quality plans, SPC, FMEA, PPAP experience - Continuous improvement and Lean Techniques knowledge.
