(Equipment training provided). /ppbr/ppbWhy This Company? /b /ppbr/ppThis leading automation manufacturer has grown 20% over the past 12 months and in line with the acquisition of new customers and market demand for their equipment they have ambitious plans to expand their support function across Europe. /ppbr/ppOperating in rapidly expanding markets such as pharmaceuticals and recognised for offering some of the industry’s most advanced equipment, they pride themselves on their detailed attention to customer needs and dedication to the highest standards of performance and quality. /ppbr/ppbRewards Benefits /b /ppbr/pulli€40K - €48K Basic Salary (dependent on experience) /liliAdditional 1 Month Salary paid as a bonus each December /liliPerformance Bonus /lili€15-20K Overtime (paid at 1.5x) /lili€600 Vacation Pay /liliCompany Car (with private use allowed) /liliTravel Expenses /liliAll local requirements – Pension, Healthcare, Holidays etc /li /ulpbr/ppbAbout The Role /b /ppbr/ppAs a Service Engineer / Service Technician you will work from a home office and be responsible for: /ppbr/pulliOperating in an 80% mechanical and 20% electrical role. /liliWorking within a service engineering team supporting pharmaceutical manufacturers across Italy. /liliAttending a low number of customer calls as each case can be extremely complicated and time consuming. /liliOn rare occasions operating as part of an installation team to complete new equipment installations, commissioning and user training. /liliSupporting customers outside of Italy should an emergency occur requiring your support. /liliWorking to preventative maintenance and installation work which is often booked 2-3 months in advance, whilst also reacting to more pressing breakdowns and repairs. /liliWorking with the engineering planner to coordinate activities and movements. /liliConducting routine service and calibration work, alongside more reactive maintenance, including fault finding, problem resolution and repair. /liliCompleting service visit reports. /li /ulpbr/ppbr/ppbAbout You /b /ppbr/ppThe successful candidate will possess at least 2+ years of service engineering / technician experience, gained working on complex pharmaceutical automation equipment (robotics, conveyors, pick/place or other pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment. /ppbr/ppCandidates must speak advance level English, a good level of Italian and be multiskilled with a mechanical focus. You must be comfortable with travel and nights away when needed. /ppbr/ppA degree level education is beneficial, but not essential, as is experience working in a cleanroom or sterile environment. /ppbr/ppIt is, however, essential you have a logical and methodical approach to finding faults and be comfortable with travel and spending time away from home. /ppbr/ppA valid local driving license is essential, as is the right to work in Italy.
