Job Description
TASKS AND RESPONSABILITIES
1. Welcome guests and manage guests’ requests and complaints in line with our service culture
2. Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to assigned dining area; present menus; announce waiter's name
3. Use visual cues to seat Guests in either the bar or dining area depending on their preference
4. Inform Guest of current promotion and who will be serving them to ensure a smooth handoff to the service staff
5. Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service
6. Manage the flow of Guests into the Dining and Bar areas, provide accurate wait times to incoming Guests if appropriate
7. Attend to special Guest needs and requests
8. Observant to Guests' needs throughout dining experience to ensure they receive high quality service ( notice a drink refill is needed while seating another Guest and ensuring the drink is refilled prior to getting back to the door).
9. Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol control policies
10. Help dining room staff by setting and clearing tables; replenishing water; serving beverages
11. Issue dining charges by verifying orders; calculating taxes; totaling bill for to-go orders
12. Receive payments by validating credit charges; approving checks; accepting currency;
13. Reconcile cash drawer by proving cash transactions; listing checks and credit card charges for to-go orders
14. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
15. Follow Standard Operating Procedures and brand identity guidelines
16. Comply with all health, safety and hygiene standards and policies.
17. Balance the cash register at the start and close of each shift.
Qualifications
18. Possess a good command of English and Italian.
19. Great storytelling skills.
20. An excellent verbal manner and proven customer service skills.
21. Good knowledge or experience in the hospitality industry.
22. Good organization skills with an attention to detail.
23. A team Player with flexible & positive attitude.
24. Good leadership and training experience.
25. Passion for the hospitality industry & F&B
26. Able to work in a fast paced environment & remain calm under pressure.
27. Be able to demonstrate experience in complaint handling.

36. Board and lodging in a shared apartment (double rooms), utilities covered by the company
37. Internal training on procedures, management and Relais & Châteaux standards
38. Integration into the Relais & Châteaux HR circuit and participation in the Relais Team program
39. Possibility of travel for specific training
