Job Description:
The Patient Journey Manager acts as a vital link among clinical partners, rehabilitation teams, and patients, ensuring seamless coordination throughout the entire treatment pathway. From initial patient selection to surgery and post-operative rehabilitation, this role involves guiding all stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes.
Responsibilities:
1. Build strong relationships with implanting centres and rehabilitation teams.
2. Provide hands-on training to clinical personnel, including visual rehab and low vision professionals.
3. Support and oversee the complete patient journey, from selection through long-term rehab.
4. Collaborate with commercial and medical teams to activate new treatment centres.
5. Engage with patient groups, doctors, and referral networks to increase awareness and access to care.
6. Facilitate communication between surgical and rehab teams to ensure continuity of care.
7. Identify and coordinate patient testimonials for awareness campaigns.
8. Serve as a key contact for patient support challenges and incident reporting.
Qualifications:
1. Degree or qualification in Orthoptics, Optics, or a low vision-related field.
2. 3–5 years' experience in medical devices and/or pharmaceuticals, ideally within ophthalmology.
3. 3–5 years' experience in low vision rehabilitation.

3. Effective project management skills across multidisciplinary teams.
4. Adaptable, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
