You will work closely with senior stakeholders in business development, investments, and operations, contributing analytical insight to strategic investment decisions.This is an ideal role for a finance professional looking to deepen exposure to energy-sector transactions while remaining strongly hands-on in analysis rather than full transaction ownership.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Analysis & ModellingCollect, consolidate, and analyse financial and operational data related to investment opportunitiesRe-adapt and maintain financial models (project and transaction level cash flow models)Perform valuation, sensitivity, and scenario analysesSupport analysis of returns, risks, and value drivers across investment optionsM&A & Investment SupportSupport M&A and partnership transactions across:Preliminary assessmentsMarket analysisDue diligenceCoordinate inputs from internal teams and external advisors during transaction processesAssist in the preparation of investment committee materials, including financial summaries, assumptions, and key recommendationsMarket & Strategic AnalysisConduct market and sector analysis related to the energy businessSupport strategic assessments of specific technologies, geographies, and business modelsContribute analytical insights to broader business development initiativesCross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with finance, development, legal, and operations teams across Italy and EuropeSupport coordination with external advisors involved in investment activitiesProfileDegree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related fieldMaster's degree or business school background is advantageousMinimum 2-3years of experience in Financial modellingExperience in the energy, infrastructure, or utilities sector is strongly preferredExposure to M&A processes (even in a supporting or analytical capacity) is desirableStrong financial modelling skills (project finance, cash flows, valuations)Advanced Excel capability; PowerPoint for investment presentationsStrong analytical, structuring, and synthesis skillsIf you are interested then please reach out to
