Description The Senior Accountant plays a key role in supporting the finance function and is responsible for the month-end close process, reconciliation reporting, variance analysis, audits, enforcing department accounting policies and other ad-hoc projects. Additionally, this role assists with our SAP initiatives and internal and external financial reporting. This position reports directly to the Finance Manager. Responsibilities Essential Duties & Responsibilities Ensuring the consistent integrity of information, in a timely manner. Compliance with internal and external accounting policies, procedures and legislation. Management of the month end process to ensure completed to prescribed timelines. Supporting of E-Archiving Invoices, E-Invoicing Portal, Exchange rate difference calculations. Reconciliation and posting of payroll information into SAP. Accruals posting, based on cost centres revision and in collaboration with business and manufacturing finance. Monthly review of balance sheet of 2 legal entities to identify and resolve any issues. Inter company reconciliations. Local Taxes calculation and Payments. VAT returns and associated work. Work closely with Tax advisor to deliver tax computations and prepare Tax Calculation. Manage and support external audits. Supporting transfer pricing. Perform other special projects as needed. LI-Hybrid Qualifications Bachelors-Accounting or related. Minimum 5 years of experience Italian and English. Turkish is a plus. Microsoft Office – in particular strong Excel skills. SAP / or ERP system.
