This is a freelance/contract role starting immediately, offering predominantly remote work with onsite presence in Milan every 2–3 weeks. /ppbr/ppRole Overview /ppAs the SAP Data Migration Lead, you will be responsible for defining, managing, and delivering the full data migration lifecycle for a large-scale SAP implementation. You will work closely with business and technical teams to ensure accurate, secure, and seamless data transition into the new SAP environment. /ppbr/ppKey Responsibilities /pulliDefine the scope, timelines, and deliverables for all data migration activities. /liliDevelop and lead the end-to-end SAP data migration strategy. /liliCollaborate with business analysts and functional consultants to capture and validate data requirements. /liliOversee data cleansing, validation, enrichment, and reconciliation processes. /liliCoordinate manual and automated data loads using tools such as LSMW, LTMC, SAP Migration Cockpit, ALE, and SAP BODS. /liliTroubleshoot data migration issues and ensure smooth execution. /liliMinimise disruption to business operations during cutover and migration phases. /li /ulpbr/ppRequired Skills Experience /pulliFluent or strong spoken Italian is essential. /liliKnowledge of SAP modules such as FI, CO, SD, MM, PS is an advantage. /liliHands-on experience with ETL tools including SAP BODS, LSMW, and Migration Cockpit. /liliProven experience working with large datasets and complex data structures. /liliSolid background in SAP Data Migration and Cutover Activities. /liliExperience in full life cycle SAP implementations. /liliStrong communication and interpersonal skills. /liliFamiliarity with data governance and master data management principles. /liliAbility to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and work across time zones. /liliFlexibility to travel for onsite work in Milan as required. /li /ulpbr/ppIf you are available to start immediately and meet the above criteria, please send your CV and availability to or apply here for an immediate consideration. /p
