How you'll make an impact
1. Collaborate with category managers to implement procurement strategies
2. Lead negotiations, manage RFQs, and make awarding decisions aligned with strategy
3. Select and develop suppliers, identifying new opportunities for growth
4. Resolve supplier issues (quality, delivery, service) with a proactive approach
5. Partner with local procurement teams to optimize purchasing processes
6. Monitor and communicate supplier performance
7. Drive automation, digitalization, and tool improvements
8. Ensure cost efficiency, availability, and innovation in procurement activities
9. Guarantee compliance with procurement policies and statutory requirements
10. Contribute to the Strategic Buyer Community in Italy, fostering teamwork and communication
11. Adapt and implement catalogues and framework contracts at divisional/regional level

Your Profile / Qualifications
What sets you up for success
17. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Economics
18. Experience in procurement processes
19. Strong background in contract and quality management
20. Solid expertise in cost analysis and management
21. Experience in complex/matrix organizations and corporate procurement strategies
22. Market analysis and supplier relationship management skills
23. Fluent in English, with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities
24. Strong negotiation, commercial, and interpersonal skills
25. Availability for business travel
26. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

28. Technical drawing knowledge
29. SAP Ariba/SAP experience
