The Business Development is accountable for contributing tooriginating, solutioning, qualifying, negotiating, and closing deals for all Avanade products, capabilities, services, and solutions.
Engage with clients to clarify their needs and translate them into potential Avanade solution opportunities. Create proposals to support key opportunities in client accounts, territories, and sectors. Work closely with Business Development professionals, partners, and alliances to grow the book of business. Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with decision-makers and buyers within client organizations. Together we do what matters.
·5 years of experience within sales area – plus on Microsoft ecosystem
·Understand client business needs and how to recommend the best fit technology solutions.
·Industry knowledge in the relevant industry Manufacturing, Consumer Goods and Retail industry
·Good client interface and presentation skills
·Demonstrates creative thinking to address our customer's business needs
·Working knowledge of account planning skills
·Good understanding of sales pipeline management and sales and revenue quotas
·Good understanding of Microsoft products and technology services – especially D365
·Able to build a network of inside and outside contacts to increase influence
