The role will coordinate with all plant functions – HR Business Partner, Business Developer, Customer Service, Warehouse, Production Engineering, RD, QHSE, Purchasing – and the Group Planning function. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liSafety – support the RSPP and QHSE Manager in ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, promote improvement actions to prevent injuries and occupational diseases, monitor KPIs and involve the plant in prevention. /li liQuality – reduce product defectiveness and process scrap, lower customer claims, support QHSE in claim analysis and resolution. /li liDelivery – ensure timely and complete fulfillment of customer orders, optimize resource planning (materials, personnel, equipment) to provide best service at lowest cost. /li liCost – achieve efficiency targets for direct/indirect staff and production lines, collaborate with plant operations, LDO and Group Engineering to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve investment returns. /li liContinuous Improvement – stimulate the team to conduct continuous improvement activities and adopt lean, Six‑Sigma and other tools (5S, PDCA, A3, TPM, 4M, DMAIC, KANBAN, VMI). /li liInvestment Expense – contribute to investment planning, monitor operational spend, and oversee budget accountability. /li liCollaborative Optimization – work with other production sites to balance line loads, manage inventories, reduce inter‑company logistics costs, and deliver superior market service. /li liLeadership – build a high‑performing team, partner with HR on development plans, mentor staff, foster a collaborative climate, and inspire a vision of continuous improvement. /li liTraining – coordinate and support training initiatives for the assigned departments. /li /ul h3Additional Responsibilities /h3 ul liAssist in defining investment plans and monitor operational cost status as accountable. /li liCollaborate with other sites for line load balance, stock management, and logistics cost reduction. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liSolid experience in Operations (10+ years) in structured manufacturing environments, make‑to‑order, and high‑complexity production. /li liExperience working in an international, matrixed organization. /li liStrong focus on plant KPIs and proven ability to lead teams toward performance goals. /li liPrevious experience in labor‑intensive production with MTO and JIT short lead times (2‑3 weeks). /li liKnowledge of lean, Six‑Sigma, and continuous‑improvement methodologies (5S, PDCA, A3, TPM, 4M, DMAIC, KANBAN, VMI, etc.). /li liBachelor’s degree in engineering. /li liProficiency in managing production resources – personnel and economics – to ensure efficiency. /li liStrong analytical and problem‑solving skills. /li liFluency in English (written and spoken). /li liExcellent Office skills, especially Excel. /li liAbility to inspire and manage collaborators, articulate a shared vision and collaborate across all management levels. /li liAdaptability to change and capability to handle sudden budget variations due to market shifts. /li /ul h3Other Information /h3 pMake the difference…anyway: this position may not be for everyone.
