WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
As a member of the international Eurotech team, you will work within the Technical Support team and you will interact with a variety of other teams, such as Core Engineering, Sales and Sales Engineering, RMA.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Support Engineer you will analyse and provide remote technical support to customers to solve problems related to both hardware and software products.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Solving customer’s cases through a variety of customer contact channels which include telephone, email, and web/live chat;
2. Apply advanced troubleshooting techniques to provide solutions for our customers and partners;
3. Drive customer interactions by working with customers to dive deep into the root cause of an issue;
4. Properly reproduce and escalate complex issues to appropriate internal development teams;
5. Write tools and scripts to help our customers and internal teams;
6. Work with management on process improvements and strategic initiatives;
7. Document technical knowledge in the form write internal and customer facing articles or operating procedures
8. Stay up to date on new technologies and participate in training to increase your IoT domain knowledge.
WHO YOU ARE
Technical skills:
9. Knowledge of system, network, and OS (Linux and Windows)
10. Technology-related Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
11. Excellent oral and written communication skills in Italian and English
12. Customer service experience / strong customer focus
13. Strong multi-tasking skills
14. Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills
15. Self-starter who is excited about learning
Nice to have:
16. Experience Linux or Windows system administrator skills
17. Experience with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Java, shell scripting)
18. Networking (e.g. DNS, TCP/IP, SSH, MQTT, HTTP, etc…)
19. Expertise with network monitoring and troubleshooting
20. Exposure to Virtualization and containers (Docker)
21. Exposure to security concepts / best practices

22. Aptitude for problem solving, attention to detail and precision
