IT Specialist
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Serve as the primary IT point of contact for Italy, coordinating day-to-day IT operations and projects.
• Ensure compliance with corporate IT standards, security policies, and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).
• Coordinate the rollout and maintenance of hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
• Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for end users, escalating complex issues as needed.
• Collaborate with the Corporate IT team to support enterprise platforms (Microsoft 365, Azure, Blackboard LMS, Classlife SIS, Business Central ERP…).
• Manage local IT vendors, service contracts, and coordinate third-party support.
• Support onboarding/offboarding processes, asset management, and inventory control.
• Facilitate training and IT awareness sessions for regional staff.
• Assist in implementing and tracking regional IT budgets and procurement.
Your Profile
Qualifications
• 4+ years of IT experience, preferably in a multi-site or international environment.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft technologies (M365, Azure AD…), networking basics, and endpoint management.
• Experience with user support, service desk operations, and vendor coordination.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and across teams.
• Fluent in English
Preferred Skills
• Experience in the education sector or similar service-based environments.
• Exposure to cloud-based systems and SaaS environments.
• Understanding of data privacy and Italy compliance.
