PpField Service Engineer /p h3In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: /h3 ul liInstall, commission, and maintain Emerson Measurement Solutions instrumentation (pressure, temperature, level, and flow sensors) at customer sites. /li liProvide technical support and resolve customer issues related to process instrumentation (including sensors and electronic components). /li liPerform calibration, troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance on instrumentation. /li liConduct acceptance tests, installation, commissioning, fault analysis, and corrective work at customer sites. /li liCarry out all activities according to Emerson guidelines, certifications, and MSOL standards. /li liProvide emergency call-out services to deliver fast and efficient customer support. /li liTravel frequently across Italy and occasionally abroad or offshore, with overnight stays when required. /li liCommunicate effectively with customers and internal teams to maintain satisfaction. /li liDeliver customer training on Emerson instrumentation and applications. /li liAdhere to Emerson's local and international trade compliance procedures in all transactions and business practices. /li liDemonstrate full commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards by following safety practices, reporting incidents, completing mandatory training, and consistently using the Emerson Safety App. /li /ul h3Who You Are: /h3 pYou are a technically skilled and hands‑on engineer with a proactive approach to fieldwork. You work well in a team, learn quickly, and can adapt to different environments, from chemical plants to refineries. You take pride in solving complex instrumentation challenges while upholding the highest standards of safety and compliance. With a solid engineering background, strong communication skills, and a readiness to travel, you build trust with customers and colleagues while staying resilient under pressure. You lead by example in promoting a positive safety culture, consistently using tools and participating actively in training, reporting, and incident prevention. /p h3For This Role, You Will Need: /h3 ul liDegree or technical diploma in an bEngineering field /b such as electronics, electrical, automation, instrumentation, or industrial IT. /li li1‑3 years of practical experience in calibration, installation, and troubleshooting of process instrumentation. /li liKnowledge of fundamental bmeasurement principles /b (pressure, temperature, level, flow). /li liGood communication skills and proficiency in bItalian and English /b (spoken and written). /liliAvailability to bwork outside office hours /b and perform on‑call services when required. /li libWillingness to travel /b frequently across Italy and occasionally abroad or offshore, including overnight stays. /li liValid bB driver's license /b. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: /h3 ul liFamiliarity with digital instrumentation and advanced measurement principles. /li liPrior work in the process industry, service companies, or industrial environments, especially with customer‑facing responsibilities. /li liExperience in chemical plants or refineries is a strong plus. /li liAbility to work in a team, adapt to different environments, and learn quickly. /li liTraits such as resilience, collaboration, accountability, and situational adaptability are highly valued. /li /ul h3Our Culture and Commitment to You /h3 pAt Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
