high-quality library and information services in support of research, innovation, and knowledge transfer activities. /p pThe role ensures the integrated management of print and digital collections, the strategic development of the library with a strong digital perspective, and the coordination of institutional relations, particularly within the cooperation framework with the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano as part of the South Tyrol Scientific Library. /p h3bTasks: /b /h3 pbStrategic Development and Institutional Networking /b /p ul liDefinition of the Library’s development strategy. /li liManagement of the cooperation with the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano within the South Tyrol Scientific Library. /li liParticipation in technical coordination boards. /li liManagement of internal stakeholders (Executive Management, Group Leaders, researchers, ICT, Procurement, Communication) and external stakeholders. /li liEnsuring quality and regulatory standards. /li /ul pbLibrary Management and Research Support /b /p ul liOverall management of the Eurac Research Library. /li liCollection development in collaboration with Institutes and Centers. /li liManagement of acquisitions, supplier negotiations, and budget allocation. /li liSupervision of cataloguing, OPAC, reference services (information and advisory), lending and interlibrary loan services. /li liPromotion of Information Literacy for Eurac Research staff. /li liPresentation of Library services to new employees. /li liResponsibility for the Library budget. /li liMonitoring and coordination of bibliographic budgets of Institutes and Centers. /li /ul pbResearch Information System and Digital Development /b /p ul liManagement and development of CRIS – Converis Publications. /li liValidation and dissemination of scientific publications. /li liSupport to researchers in the use of the system. /li liPromotion of digital resources and further development of the digital library vision. /li /ul pbTeam Management /b /p ul liCoordination and supervision of a team of 5 staff members through structured planning of activities, workload monitoring, and annual performance evaluations. /li liPromotion of a service-oriented, accountable, and innovation-driven organizational culture. /li liActive role as mentor and promoter of professional growth. /li liOrganization of service activities (front office, cataloguing, acquisitions, periodicals management, CRIS). /li /ul h3bRequirements: /b /h3 pbEssential Requirements /b /p ul liMaster’s degree in Library and Information Science, or equivalent (Humanistic subjects) and/or at least 10 years of qualified professional experience in scientific libraries or scientific information centers. /li liIn-depth knowledge of the three working languages of Eurac Research (English C1, Italian C1, German C1). /li liExperience in team coordination. /li liStrong orientation towards digital innovation in the library sector. /li /ul pbTechnical Skills /b /p ul liKnowledge of Library Management Systems (e.g., ILS, Alma – Clarivate – Ex Libris or equivalent) and electronic resource management platforms. /li liKnowledge of major scientific databases (Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed, publisher databases, catalogues, and search engines). /li liExperience in the use and management of CRIS systems. /li liFamiliarity with Open Access policies
