Place of work : FANO (PU) Ref : The Contract Manager will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager in the administration and oversight of contracts throughout the entire project lifecycle, ensuring full compliance with contractual obligations as well as legal, technical, and commercial standards. Key Responsibilities Support the Project Manager and Project Management Department in the administration and monitoring of contracts throughout all project phases, from planning to closure, including the preparation and handling of claims, disputes, change orders, communications and more; - Collaborate with the Commercial, Procurement and Legal departments in the drafting, review and negotiation of various agreements (e.g., engineering services contracts - concept studies, FEED, detailed design, EPC contracts - Framework Agreements, subcontracts, supply contracts, technical service agreements, NDAs, MoUs, Joint Venture agreements, etc.); - During the pre-award phase, perform risk assessments of tender documents received from the Sales Department, prepare risk checklists, and draft clarification requests and potential deviation proposals for submission to the contracting authority. - During the post-award phase, monitor contractual risks, identify potential opportunities and propose risk mitigation strategies to the Project Manager. Carry out all Contract Administration activities and participate in project meetings when requested; - Assist in the timely identification and evaluation of trends and variations to be formally communicated to the client in line with contractual procedures; - Support the Project Manager and Procurement Department in managing subcontracts with suppliers of goods and services; - Provide contractual advice and clarification to the Project Team as needed; - Handle the certification process related to project milestones (Preliminary and Final Acceptance) and ensure proper contract close-out in accordance with contract requirements; - Maintain organized and compliant records of all contractual documentation, following both corporate guidelines and legal / regulatory requirements; - Interface with clients, suppliers and legal advisors when required; - Ensure compliance with applicable local and international laws and regulations, including HSE and anti-corruption standards. Qualifications and Skills Required Minimum 10 years of experience as a Contract Manager in Oil & Gas, Energy, or Engineering projects (e.g., plants, gas pipelines, oil pipelines), both in Italy and abroad; - Degree in Engineering, Law or Economics; - Fluent in English (written and spoken), with strong command of contractual and technical terminology; - Excellent leadership and time management skills; - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, particularly with high-profile clients; - Experience working in multicultural environments; - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously; - Strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving abilities; - Results-oriented, accurate and proactive; - Willingness to travel nationally and internationally; - Excellent IT skills. Preferred Experience in managing EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) contracts; - Previous experience as a Project Manager; - Strong knowledge of international contracts (FIDIC, LOGIC, NEC, etc.); - Proficiency in French; - Long-term experience on international projects.
