Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Work Authorization Subject Matter Expert for AMER, leveraging deep expertise in legal requirements, business processes, and regional compliance obligations to ensure WA processes and products are continuously developed in alignment with Amazon's compliance requirements.
- Lead policy change management for U.S. work authorization policy changes, assessing scope and impact, developing response strategies, and communicating complex policy information to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Own business requirements for product and technology initiatives, co-authoring BRDs and PRDs, defining business rules for process workflow automation, and providing input to engineering and analytics teams.
- Drive process improvement and operational excellence by developing and streamlining processes to deliver against legal requirements, customer needs, and operational efficiency targets.
- Manage project roadmap and standard work deliverables, using Asana to track progress, identify blockers, and communicate risks and impacts to stakeholders.
- Navigate ambiguity by setting goals, making decisions, managing stakeholder expectations, and designing long-term solutions.
- Communicate with clarity and influence, contributing to operational planning documents and presenting strategic narratives to senior leaders.
- Support customers and internal stakeholders, providing domain expert support to WA service teams, recruiters, and regional partners.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience conducting investigative work, including claimant, witness, and target employee interviews, data analysis, and documentation production.
- Experience developing policies and supporting documentation.
- Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security or personnel issues.
Compensation
Salary range: $125,800.00 – $170,200.00 USD annually.
