Our client is looking for a Senior Systems Integration & Validation Engineer to join its team in the Bari area. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with experience across systems integration, testing, validation and certification-related activities who enjoys working on complex multidisciplinary products in demanding real-world environments.
The role would suit someone coming from sectors such as advanced engineering, mechatronics, robotics, automotive, aerospace, defence, rail or industrial automation, and who is looking to broaden their scope within a dynamic and highly technical setting.
The role
You will play a key part in helping bring complex products from development stage into structured validation, operational readiness and certification-related milestones. The position offers broad exposure across integration, test execution, technical documentation and cross-functional engineering collaboration.
Key responsibilities
* Support the integration of multidisciplinary systems including mechanical, electrical, electronic, controls and embedded/software components
* Help define integration plans, system interfaces, acceptance criteria and readiness checkpoints
* Plan and execute bench tests, integration tests and field trials
* Prepare and maintain structured test procedures, test evidence and defect-tracking documentation
* Play a key role in driving certification-readiness activities across the product development lifecycle
* Coordinate the preparation of technical documentation, validation evidence and engineering records required to support certification-related reviews and milestones
* Work closely with engineering, quality and external stakeholders to ensure compliance requirements are understood and addressed
* Help ensure certification and product-quality considerations are embedded from early design stages through testing and validation
* Contribute directly to resolving technical and documentation gaps needed to move products toward approval, deployment and operational readiness
Candidate profile
We are interested in candidates with:
* a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related field
* hands-on experience in systems integration, testing, verification and validation
* exposure to technical documentation, compliance, qualification or certification-related activities
* the ability to work across hardware, electronics, controls and/or embedded/software environments
* a practical, problem-solving and delivery-focused mindset
* availability to work primarily on-site in the Bari area.
