Ph3Overview /h3pbSystem Integration Engineer – Automotive Applications – Basic-SW specialist /b /ppWe are looking for a highly motivated System Integration Engineer to join our team in developing state-of-the-art cross-domain automotive products. This role involves integrating hardware electronics and embedded software, from initial concept and requirements elicitation to series production release. The focus is on designing next-generation software architectures for future vehicles, including motorcycles, passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and off-road applications. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliManage and track software changes, perform impact analysis, and coordinate with function development and calibration teams. /liliDebug hardware and software during design, launch, and deployment phases. /liliDevelop and optimize algorithms, potentially using model-based methodologies for rapid prototyping. /liliDefine, implement, and execute test cases and methods to ensure requirement fulfillment on SiL, HiL, and target systems. /liliConduct xCU system-level testing and verification, including electrical measurements, signal integrity, and power management analysis. /liliSupport the integration and configuration of AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) modules (e.g., MCAL, RTE, COM, DIAG, MEM). /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliMaster’s degree in Mechatronics, Control, Electrical, Computer, or Telecommunications Engineering (or equivalent). /liliExperience with automotive communication and diagnostic protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, UDS). /liliStrong understanding of HW-SW interaction in powertrain systems; experience with system modeling (SysML) is a plus. /liliProficiency with hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multimeters) and in-circuit emulators. /liliSkilled in using specialized tools (e.g., CANoe/CANalyzer, Vehicle Spy) for network analysis and troubleshooting. /liliExperience in integrating software components with BSW and RTE, ensuring AUTOSAR compliance. /liliAbility to test and debug Basic Software layers, resolving issues related to timing, memory, and communication stacks. /liliStrong programming skills in C/C++ for embedded systems. /liliAbility to leverage AI-based tools (e.g., LLMs) to improve development efficiency. /liliFamiliarity with various microcontroller architectures is beneficial. /liliKnowledge of automotive cybersecurity principles and functional safety concepts (ISO 26262) is a plus. /liliSelf-driven, responsible, flexible, and able to work under pressure. /liliIndependent and goal-oriented working style with strong analytical and coordination skills. /liliTeam player with a proactive and customer-oriented mindset. /liliGood command of English; basic knowledge of German is a plus. /li /ulh3What We Offer /h3ulliA dynamic and innovative work environment /liliInvolvement in international, high-tech automotive projects /liliOpportunities for professional growth and continuous learning /liliA collaborative and inclusive team culture /li /ulpbReady to drive the future of automotive technology? /b Apply now and become part of our forward-thinking team /ppBosch is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
