We are recruiting an HR Business Partner for a rapidly growing global platform in the food manufacturing sector, focused on private-label production for some of the world’s best-known retailers. With recent acquisitions across Europe and ambitious expansion plans in North America, the organisation is going through an exciting period of change and transformation.
The role will be based in Reggio Emilia, with regular travel to the main production site twice a week and occasional visits to other plants across Italy. Reporting into the Group Head of HR (UK-based), this position will play a critical role in leading plant-level HR operations during a period of rapid growth and integration. As the business continues to scale, this role will be instrumental in embedding a modern, group-aligned HR operating model; ensuring consistency, operational excellence, and cultural cohesion across local teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and embed group-wide HR transformation at the site level
Act as a strategic partner to site leadership and senior group stakeholders
Support post-acquisition integration across systems, processes, and culture
Drive employee engagement and operational HR excellence across corporate and factory staff
Manage seasonal workforce planning, including recruitment and compliance with local labour laws
Build strong relationships with trade unions and other worker representatives
Champion performance, talent development, and succession planning initiatives
We’re looking for an experienced HR professional with a strong background in manufacturing or FMCG environments. You’ll need a strategic mindset, but also be willing to roll up your sleeves and work hands-on with local teams.
If you are a commercially minded HR Business Partner who has strong experience in production or factory settings, we'd love to hear from you.
