Overview Job Posting Title : OEM Buyer An exciting opportunity has arisen within Haier Europe. Responsibilities The resource: Negotiation of price lists with suppliers based on business trends, raw material costs, and exchange rates. Year-End Bonus negotiations with suppliers in accordance with business performance. Negotiation of RFQ (Request for Quotation) costs when exceeding target thresholds. Counter-negotiation of supplier price increase requests. Preparation of budget files. Variance analysis (completed and pending), including year-end closure forecasts, using Qlik reporting tools. Cross-functional support in supplier relations (e.g., expediting shipments, certification documentation, etc.). Negotiation of contracts with new suppliers, including payment terms. Monthly compilation of payment files in coordination with Finance/Treasury for cash flow management. Strategic supplier base management to identify cost-saving and supplier-switching opportunities. While coordinating a Junior Buyer OEM for more daily activities such as: Sending and analyzing RFQs/CCs based on marketing briefs Requesting documentation from new suppliers Onboarding new suppliers (sending activation link for portal access, requesting contract signature) Updating price lists in Excel and SAP Maintaining PLM based on tasks assigned by the R&D department Releasing blocked invoices and following up with suppliers in case of billing errors, including requesting credit notes Participating in all weekly project progress meetings (OEM Built-In Candy projects, Hoods projects, OEM hobs projects) What you need to succeed Must have Education: Master Degree in Management Engineering, Business Administration or similar background Professional Experience: a professional which has gained a structured knowledge in purchasing as well as product development (NPI) even if not at Senior level (2-4 years ideally in Procurement/Supply Chain area) Soft skills Time-management and organizational skills Strong capabilities to connect and cooperate with internal functions. Solid attitude on building external relationships and communication skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
