Develop training plans for your team and implement training programs within your department. /li liDrive safety standards and operations protocol while ensuring team compliance. /li /ul h3Export Control Requirement /h3 pDue to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. /p h3A day in the life /h3 pThe Lead Space Simulation Technician will identify process improvements to improve build efficiency. You will work closely with multiple engineering teams on both early hardware development testing and setting the stage for later production hardware manufacturing processes. We are currently in research and development but moving towards production environment. /p h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liHigh school diploma or equivalent /li li3+ years relevant high traceability manufacturing experience (Aerospace / Medical, etc.) /li li3+ years of hands‑on work in test lab environment, using basic hand tools /li li3+ years experience in a fast‑paced production environment with Flight Hardware /li liMinimum 3 years of environmental test experience performing at least one of the following: ul liVibration Testing /li liShock Testing /li liAcoustic Testing /li liThermal Testing /li liThermal Vacuum Testing /li /ul /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul li3+ years prior leadership experience, to include leading teams, projects or people /li liExperience bringing teams and processes from development to production /li liAble to read, interpret and work from engineering documentation and/or drawings /li liExperience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirements /li liAbility to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high‑paced, challenging work environment /li liAbility to prioritize work in a complex, fast‑paced environment /li liProper use and understanding of DMM, torque wrenches, calipers, and other type of measuring devices /li liExperience installing instrumentation such as accelerometers, thermocouples, etc. /li liUnderstanding of 5S and lean principles /li /ul h3Equal Opportunity Employer /h3 pAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
