You will join a team responsible for the data integration, complex transformations, application of business logic, modelling and serving billions of rows of structured financial data.The team builds on a lakehouse architecture utilizing Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake with Python being the main programming language.Our teams are at the intersection of data engineering and software engineering and apply a robust Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to all of their deliveries.You will build design and automatically test software that processes data through our medallion architecture.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer scienceProven experience developing complex software systems as a software engineer (at least 5 years)Strong understanding of data engineering techniques with high level programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, or Python)Good core Python software engineering experienceAt least 2 years for hands on experience with Apache Spark (PySpark), developing applications using an IDE such as VS Code or PyCharmExperience of working with delta lake tablesA good understanding of, and, significant experience developing software on projects using relational data models and SQLPreferably experience with the Azure Databricks platform
