YOOX is part of LuxExperience, the leading digital, multi-brand luxury group.YOOX are now seeking a talented **Localization Editor - English** to join the team.Some of the essentials for you to know are:**Location:** Our offices in Zola Predosa (Bologna), Italy**Department:** Digital Production YOOX**Reporting into:** Head of Localization**Working Model**: Hybrid**Contract Type:** Maternity Cover**Potential Start Date:** April / May 2026**Role Purpose:**The Localization Editor is responsible for the linguistic, cultural, and stylistic quality of localized content, ensuring consistency with the brand's tone of voice and maximum relevance for local markets.**Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:*** Translate, revise, and draft copy (product descriptions, functional and editorial content, SEO/GEO, etc.) in the relevant language using the CAT (Computer Aided Translation) tool adopted by the team, or other programs specified by the company.* Check spelling, grammar, and style; maintain linguistic consistency and effectiveness of content in the relevant language; verify the accuracy of copy in alignment with images and/or layouts.* Language Quality Assurance (LQA) of website content using the programs adopted by the company.* Collect, update, and draft glossaries, translation memories, and style guides for the group's stores localized in the relevant language.* Support SEO (Search Engine Optimization) activities for websites in the relevant language.* Edit localized web content via CMS (Content Management System) and other programs.* Collaborate with LSPs to maintain quality.* Identify and provide solutions for cultural, linguistic, or local sensitivity issues to achieve and maintain the company defined editorial quality standards.* Define and maintain high editorial quality standards.* Support the evaluation and implementation of tools, such as TMS, CAT, automation, and AI/MT solutions.**The type of person we are looking for:*** English – Advanced proficiency (**minimum C2 level required**) in both British and American English* Fluent in Italian (minimum C1 level required)* Strong cultural and linguistic sensitivity, with the ability to appropriately localize content for different English-speaking countries (e.g., Canada, South Africa, etc.)* Proven previous experience in translation rolesFrom the moment you join LuxExperience, we are committed to making your journey with us inspirational and evolutionary.
