Responsibilities
* Direct and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including demolition, earthworks, foundations, structural works, and mechanical and electrical installations
* Ensure all construction activities comply with local, regional, and national regulations, particularly those related to environmental protection, permitting, and health and safety
* Supervise and manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring work is executed according to design, schedule, and quality standards.
* Act as the main point of contact between engineering, procurement, environmental, and construction teams to ensure alignment and timely resolution of issues.
* Integrate environmental considerations into construction planning and execution, ensuring all activities are consistent with permit conditions and sustainability goals
* Monitor and report on construction progress, managing schedules and budgets, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
* Enforce safety standards and procedures on site, promoting a culture of safety and quality across all activities.
* Liaise with regulatory agencies, local authorities, and community representatives as needed to ensure transparent and effective communication.
