Role Purpose
As an IT Operations at Vodafone Automotive (VFA), you will be a key member of the IT Operations team under the leadership of the IT Operations Manager. Your primary responsibility is to ensure seamless deployment, support, and troubleshooting of IT services essential to the company's daily operations. You will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability, security, and performance of our IT infrastructure.
Key Accountabilities and Decision Ownership
Deployment: Collaborate with the IT Operations Manager and other teams to deploy and configure IT services, including hardware (HW), software (SW), and networking components.
Support: Provide technical assistance to end-users, resolving IT-related issues and ensuring employees have access to the necessary tools and resources.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve IT issues promptly to minimize downtime and operational disruptions.
System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates, patches, and backups to ensure reliability and security.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to implement IT solutions and enhancements that improve efficiency and productivity.
Security: Ensure compliance with security protocols and best practices, supporting data protection initiatives.

Deployment of IT services, including hardware and software.
End-user support and issue resolution.
Troubleshooting and problem-solving.
System maintenance and performance optimization
Knowledge of key protocols and formats for Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), including HTTP/HTTPS, JSON, and XML.
Kubernetes and related DevOps practices.
Operational management of complex platforms based on standard databases (Oracle/SQL), Linux, Java, and common packages.
Must-Have Technical / Professional Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Proven experience in IT operations, system administration, or similar roles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for effective troubleshooting.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Proactive and customer-focused approach to IT support.
Relevant certificates (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are an advantage.
