As Process Engineer Expert_Naval System with experience in floaters design, you will join our Department TEAM (Technology based Activities and Methods), focusing on process design of Utilities and Offsite units within the Energy Carriers business line, performing activities such as:
* Preparation of Process Flow Diagrams, Heat and Material Balances
* Sizing of Equipment and Instrumentation, preparing Data sheets and Duty Specifications
* Elaboration of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (PIDs), Cause and Effect Charts, Control Narratives, Logic Sequences
* Development of hydraulic and thermal calculations in steady state and transient operation
* Preparation of Operating Manuals and Test Run procedures
* Participation in multidisciplinary project reviews to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and regulations
These activities may apply to various plants and processes contributing to the energy transition towards Net Zero, leveraging experience in floaters design to support Floating Production Structures (FPS, FPSO) for complex oil and gas extraction and processing in challenging environments.
Qualifications: Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. Significant experience in process design of naval systems (such as ballast, bilge systems) in floating units is required.
Language Skills: Good written and spoken English.
Employment Type: Permanent Contract
Experience: 10-15 years total, with at least 5-10 years in process design of naval systems in floating units.
IT Skills: Knowledge of process design software (e.g., Hysys), hydraulic design tools (e.g., Pipenet), CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Bluebeam).
Soft Skills: Communication, teamwork, problem-solving, adaptability.
Additional: Willingness for international mobility, including long-term assignments (1-2 years). Main location: Milan.
