Tax expert

Ph3Overview /h3pThe Tax Expert will act as the primary tax advisor for VST, responsible for managing and overseeing the tax compliance and advisory activities for the company\'s operations. The resource will ensure that the company adheres to local tax laws, multinational tax regulations, and international tax treaties while providing strategic tax planning and insights to support business decisions. This role is crucial in ensuring the company\'s tax risks are effectively managed and its tax obligations are met efficiently. It will act as Tax Expert and single point of contact for Vodafone Servizi e Tecnologie, a Vodafone Group owned company with ~900 employees in Italy performing activities in Network and Digital IT areas. The role is part of an international HR team with opportunities to share best practices across 11 markets in Europe. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliAct as the primary tax advisor for the company and oversee tax compliance and advisory activities. /liliEnsure adherence to local tax laws, multinational tax regulations, and international tax treaties. /liliProvide strategic tax planning and insights to support business decisions. /liliManage and communicate tax risks and ensure timely and accurate tax filings. /liliCollaborate with regional and Group teams to align tax matters across markets. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in taxation, accounting, finance, or related field. /liliMinimum of 5 years of experience in tax boutiques or in-house tax roles. /liliFamiliarity with VAT, direct and indirect taxes, and transfer pricing. /liliStrong knowledge of direct and indirect taxes and transfer pricing mechanisms; ability to work with Group to align VST matters. /liliProficiency in tax research and document management. /liliExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to advise management effectively. /liliFluency in English and Italian. /li /ulh3Benefits /h3pWe offer a supportive work environment with hybrid working and generous parental leave.
