Pombia, Italy (Smart Working). Travel required within Italy and abroad.
Position Summary
We are looking for a Service Technician to join our Innovation Technology Test Area team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing activities that will take place both within the Innovation & Technology area and at customer sites or end‑user plants in terms of service.
Responsibilities – Testing, Analysis, and Design
* Test room activities: performance tests of company products, characterization of noise emissions, structural tests (static and dynamic), preparation of testing machines, instrumentation of the components to be tested, and assembly of standard products and prototypes.
* Project engineering: manage projects, manage timelines, budgets, and technical documentation; support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting; work with customers, suppliers, and production teams; handle quality checks and compliance requirements; ensure designs meet technical and safety standards.
* Onsite visits: service activities in Italy and abroad at customer sites such as refineries, power generation plants, chemical sites, and new generation areas for the capture and removal of CO2. Supervise and assist installation of supplied products, evaluate performances, and optimise setups to achieve expected targets linked to customer satisfaction.
* Strong discipline in following rules and safety standards.
* Build strong relationships with internal team and customers.
* Travel typically ranges from one day to several weeks, with an average annual travel of approximately 30% of the time.
* Natural interest in training and learning, dynamism, flexibility, and sociability.
Qualifications
* Technical high school diploma or background.
* Ability to read technical drawings (preferred, not mandatory).
* Some experience in maintenance and/or tooling is preferred.
* Knowledge of the Windows Office package, particularly Excel.
* Predisposition to learn new instrumental technologies (strain gauge analyzers, vibration analyzers, phonometers, etc.).
* Attention to detail, precision, orientation towards quality and learning.
* Good knowledge of English.
* Open to travel in Italy and abroad.
* Minimum 2 years of experience.
