About the role
The AI Software Engineer owns the technical side of the selected Back Office innovation initiatives of the area. These will most of the times involve AI, either ML, GenAI, Agentic AI. The person evaluates technical feasibility and limitations, designs the blueprint for the best solution and how the AI component interacts with the data flows and target software. Ensure it aligns with enterprise architecture and security guidelines, does code reviews and help troubleshoot issues during the build with external developers. Drives the delivery team. Package the code, document it, and support the transition to run
What you’ll be doing
* Technical Prototyping: build PoCs (e.g., policy chatbot, invoice automation, contract review) using Azure AI/OpenAI, Python, Power Platform and enterprise APIs.
* Technology Integration: experiment with and configure AI features in BO platforms (e.g., SAP/Workday/ServiceNow AI).
* Solution Architecture: creating the technical blueprint.
* AI/ML Engineering: apply NLP/LLM techniques (classification, extraction, summarization, RAG); prompt engineering and fine-tuning for pilots.
* Enable External Development Team and unblock them, make sure they have all they need.
* Handover & Collaboration: document code and designs, support knowledge transfer and initial troubleshooting for IT/BO or vendors.
* Compliance: align with enterprise architecture, security, privacy and Responsible AI guidelines.
* Continuous Experimentation: monitor emerging AI platform capabilities; contribute reusable accelerators.
About you
* 3 years in software/AI engineering with strong Python skills.
* Experience with Azure AI / Azure OpenAI and orchestration of LLMs and APIs; familiarity with Power Platform.
* Understanding of enterprise BO systems or corporate processes (Finance/HR/Legal/Procurement).
* Comfort with rapid prototyping in lean, iterative environments.
* Fluent English.
* Experimental mindset, fast learner, pragmatic delivery.
* Strong collaboration with PMs, Solution Owners and architects.
* Clear communication and documentation; comfort with ambiguity.
* Communicate technical concepts to non-technical people.
