BionIT Labs is looking for a passionate, creative, and innovation-driven Mechatronic Engineer to join our RD team.Are you a mechanical engineer with a strong passion for robotics and technological innovation?BionIT Labs is seeking a Mechatronic Engineer with a solid mechanical background, combined with a cross-disciplinary mindset embracing electronics and firmware development.In this role, you will become part of our Research and Development (RD) team, contributing to the design and realization of high-tech mechatronic systems. We are looking for a dynamic individual able to move confidently across mechanical design, electronics, and prototyping, ready to bring expertise and creativity into a fast-paced and future-oriented environment.Your main responsibilities will include:Supporting the execution of Research and Development (RD) projects.Designing and modeling mechanical devices and components, defining and sizing innovative solutions.Designing electronic circuits and developing both electronic and mechanical prototypes (using technologies such as 3D printing and CNC machining).Performing electrical laboratory measurements, PCB rework, and assembly activities.Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to maintain technological update.Ensuring technological innovations comply with intellectual property (IP) standards.Drafting technical documentation, test reports, and consolidating project know-how.Researching and qualifying suppliers and emerging technologies.Identifying and resolving technical issues during product development.Skills and qualifications we are looking for:Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Electronic Engineering.Experience (is a plus): Minimum of 3 years in RD roles within the hardware sector or product development, with strong exposure to interdisciplinary projects.Technical skills:Proficient use of 3D CAD software (CREO, SolidWorks, Catia, etc.). Use of ECAD software (Eagle, Altium, etc.) is a plus.Experience in rapid prototyping (3D printing, CNC machining) and electronic laboratory techniques (measurement instrumentation, PCB rework).Language skills: English proficiency at B2 level or higher.Soft Skills:Strong "lean thinking" approach and innovation-oriented mindset.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage technical issues independently.Attitude for technical documentation and knowledge consolidation.Strong communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
