Desktop Support Engineer
in
Roma with a 1 year contract
for one of our top clients, a main actor in the Finance market.This role is responsible for maintenance of company end-user equipment and provide technical support for various application and network issues.As a Desktop Support Engineer, the employee will also work with senior IT engineers on complex technical issues and assist with IT projects (on Workplace changes) as necessary.
The job contract will be 1 year, with the possibility to extend.
Support a diverse group of energetic users with varying levels of technical expertise and requirements;Provide both desk-side and remote support to end-users;Maintain Thin Client, Laptops, Mobile phones and focusing on functionality, end user experience, and efficient problem resolution;Computer hardware, Microsoft & third-party Software and Insurance applications (if need be), Mobile devices, Desk phones and printers;Perform tasks related to onboarding and termination including configuring Laptops, Thin Clients, mobile phones, registering SIM card, account creation and access authorization based on provided policies;Manage and monitor the IT Support ticket queue.
English communication proficiency;Microsoft end-user technologies (Windows 10 OS, Microsoft Office 365 suite application);Hardware/Software and Remote Support;Good knowledge with Windows registry;Ability to troubleshoot software/hardware issues and provide timely resolution.
