Ph3About the role /h3 pBionIT Labs is looking for a bMaterials Engineer /b to support the development and industrialization of advanced materials used in upper-limb prosthetic technologies. /p pThe role will focus on the bselection, characterization, and optimization of polymeric and elastomeric materials /b used in components that interact with users and are exposed to mechanical, environmental, and wear stresses. /p pThe candidate will work at the intersection of bquality, production, and supply chain /b, contributing to improving the performance, reliability, and manufacturability of key components within our devices. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liSupport the bselection and validation of polymeric and elastomeric materials /b used in device components; /li liCollaborate with quality and production teams to boptimize manufacturing processes /b involving rigid structural polymers, as well as flexible and soft materials; /li liDefine and oversee bmaterial testing protocols /b (mechanical, environmental, durability); /li liWork with external suppliers to bevaluate material properties and manufacturing feasibility /b; /li liAnalyze bfield feedback and material-related failure modes /b related to materials and propose corrective actions; /li liContribute to bprocess improvement initiatives /b aimed at enhancing the quality and the consistency of material-based components; /li liSupport bDesign for Manufacturability (DfM) /b activities during product development; /li liSupport broot-cause investigations /b related to material performance, manufacturing variability, and field feedback; /li liDocument material specifications, validation activities, and technical reports. /li /ul h3Required Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in bMaterials Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or a related field /b /li liExperience with bpolymeric and elastomeric materials /b used in engineering applications /li liKnowledge of bmaterial testing methods /b (mechanical, environmental, aging tests) /li liUnderstanding of bmanufacturing and processing techniques for polymeric and composite materials /b (e.g. molding, casting, coating, textile integration) /li liStrong analytical and problem-solving skills /li liAbility to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience with badditive manufacturing technologies /b (e.g. FDM and resin-based 3D printing) /li liExperience with bmedical devices or wearable technologies /b /li liFamiliarity with bbiocompatible materials and ISO 10993 considerations /b /li liKnowledge of bquality and regulatory frameworks for medical devices /b /li liExperience interacting with binternational suppliers /b /li /ul pbSalary Range: 27-37k€ /b /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
