As an Operations Shift Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining our customer expectations to ensure customer orders are delivered at the right time, to the right location. /p pPlease note the shift pattern is based on 4 days on and 3 days off so flexibility is a must for this role as the site operates across 7 days. /p h3Key job responsibilities /h3 ul liLeading and developing a team of Amazon associates /li liMaintaining Health and Safety standards, while promoting a Health and Safety culture on-site. /li liCollaborate with all support teams including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives. /li liProactively identifying and leading process improvement initiatives and Lean tools /li liYou’ll need to push, pull, squat, bend, and reach varying weights. /li /ul h3A day in the life /h3 pYou will be an inspiring leader within our Delivery Stations, where you will work to continuously improve the efficiency of delivery processes, ensuring that customer orders are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively as possible. Along with your peers, you’ll ensure that all workflows run smoothly and that customer expectations are met, if not exceeded. /p h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liExperience building and managing teams /li liExperience with analytical tools and ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting /li liExperience communicating technical details verbally and in writing /li liExperience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvement /li liWork a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays /li li1+ years of Amazon experience, or experience working independently with minimal supervision /li liWorking experience in Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liCan manage a high volume of requests and competing deadlines /li li1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience /li /ul h3Acknowledgement of country /h3 pIn the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
