It interacts with production, product development, and customers' technical stakeholders.Role and ResponsibilitiesAs a Process Engineer, reporting to the Manager of Process and Quality, you will provide key technical support to the specialty paper production by ensuring continuous improvement of the production process in terms of quality, cost, and productivity.You will be responsible to:Assure and contribute to a safe work environment.Build close collaboration between Innovation, Maintenance, Production, and other Sappi production sites regarding process optimization.Lead projects to optimize productivity, quality, and cost of production.Ensure data collection and define process parameters for key production processes.Support troubleshooting and quality improvements through data analysis and engineering solutions.Required QualificationsFluency in English and ItalianA strong sense of safety in the work environmentAnalytical, systematic, and practical approach to problem solvingGood communication skills and ability to relate at different organizational levelsGood to Have2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a process or production engineerLocationThis job is located at the Paper Mill of Condino (TN).TravelSome travel (up to 10%) to group locations in Germany, Austria, and Belgium is expected.On-site Flexible WorkThis position primarily impacts on-site; however, there is an option to work from home occasionally.What We OfferAn excellent opportunity to work, learn, and grow with us.
