Medical Manager (Northern Italy) The role is part of the Medical Affairs field within a growing Brands division of a large generic international pharmaceutical company. We are seeking an experienced Medical Affairs field professional who can operate in an autonomous, entrepreneurial way and contribute across the business, including strategy and execution of medical projects, as well as support to Sales and Marketing colleagues with a demonstrable affinity for commercial opportunities. Location: Italy. English proficiency required for communication with the European Management team. Reports to the Lead Medical Managers Europe. The European Management team is located in various places in Europe; European offices are in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Responsibilities Develop Medical Affairs strategy and execute medical scientific projects such as publications and advisory boards. Identify and develop peer-to-peer relationships with country KOLs and other influencers, utilizing evidence-based information. Prepare strategically and support development and launch of products through scientific exchange in melanoma. Support Early Access Program requests from HCPs in Italy for melanoma patients. Provide business support to Italian marketing / commercial / market access for Odomzo (sonidegib) indicated for locally advanced basal cell carcinoma. Lead the process for approval of investigator-initiated trials and monitor progression. Ensure timely, compliant and ethical dissemination of clinical and scientific information regarding marketed and pipeline compounds. Develop links with and support national, regional and local networks in Derma-oncology and potential future therapeutic areas. Communicate the latest emerging data to identified experts; respond to unsolicited healthcare professional inquiries. Support colleagues in organizing HCP events by providing medical content support to speakers. Education Qualifications Mandatory – (bio) medical (scientific) academic degree. Driver’s license. Work experience Mandatory – Minimum of 3 years of MSL or Medical Manager experience in the innovative pharmaceutical industry. At least one year experience in a commercial function within the innovative pharmaceutical industry. Mandatory – Native Italian and Fluent in English. Desirable: Dermatology / Oncology experience.
