We offer comprehensive professional development opportunities and the chance to shape the security of one of the world's largest cloud providers.Key job responsibilitiesSecurity Operations Management• Manage on-site physical security operations for Data Centers• Oversee access control systems, guard force operations, and vendor contracts• Conduct risk assessments, security audits, and incident reporting• Generate and analyze security metrics• Implement and maintain CCTV monitoring systems and media security protocols• Ensure protection of customer data through robust security measuresProcess and Policy Management• Implement new security processes while maintaining compliance with Amazon policies• Develop and execute security plans for special events• Create evacuation procedures and emergency response protocols• Establish benchmarks for security performance• Design customized policies to meet internal and external regulationsRelationship Management• Build and maintain partnerships with internal teams (DC Engineering, DC Operations)• Coordinate with external partners (Vendors, Emergency Services)• Supervise security contractors and monitor their performance• Collaborate with global security teamsProject Management• Deliver security projects within specified timelines and budgets• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders• Identify and address safety and security deficiencies• Conduct data analysis to support risk assessments• Travel to other geographic regions as requiredBASIC QUALIFICATIONSExperience• 5+ years in public or private security industry• Corporate/DC security experience with a global company• Proven track record in business continuity and operational security• Experience writing and publishing security standardsTechnical Knowledge• Strong working knowledge of physical security systems and components• Expertise in security metrics and trend analysis• Ability to develop and deliver security awareness training programs• Understanding of crisis operations and risk managementManagement Skills• Experience managing daily operations and strategic program planning• Track record of building international and cross-functional relationships• Ability to work independently and lead global teams• Demonstrated project management capabilitiesCommunication• Strong written and verbal communication skills• Confident presentation abilities at all organizational levels• Experience in crisis communication• High attention to detail and accuracyProblem-Solving• Ability to analyze technical requirements• Strong decision-making and prioritization skills• Results-oriented approach to challenges• Experience in risk assessment and mitigationOther Requirements• Valid driver's license (must use personal vehicle between locations)• Willingness to travel internationally• Ability to work in an international environmentPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSLegal Investigative Expertise• Comprehensive knowledge of investigative laws and practices• Experience conducting security investigations• Understanding of workplace safety regulations and complianceTechnical Expertise• Advanced knowledge of security technology, including:o Access control systemso CCTV operationso Identification systemso Special security applicationsProfessional Certifications• Relevant security industry certifications• Additional safety or security credentialsManagement Experience• Proven vendor management experience• Demonstrated decision-making abilities in complex situationsTechnical Skills• Proficiency with data gathering and analysis tools• Ability to quickly adapt to new company systemsLanguage Communication• Italian language proficiency (verbal and written)• Strong cross-cultural communication abilitiesAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
