We are looking for a Mid‑Senior SAP BW / BW on HANA Consultant to join our SAP Data & Analytics team.
\n
In this role, you will contribute primarily through hands‑on development, enhancement, and support of SAP BW solutions in international project and run contexts.
\n
This position focuses on delivery excellence, technical quality, and continuous improvement, rather than solution architecture ownership.
\n
What You’ll Be Doing
\n
\n
- Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP BW / BW on HANA data warehouse solutions
\n
- Build and support ADSOs, CompositeProviders, InfoObjects, and Open ODS Views
\n
- Implement and maintain data extraction, transformation, and loading processes
\n
- Work with S/4HANA source systems, including CDS‑based and ODP extractors
\n
- Monitor and improve data load performance, process chains, and data quality
\n
- Analyze and resolve incidents, defects, and performance issues in BW environments
\n
- Support change requests and enhancements based on business requirements
\n
- Collaborate with reporting and analytics teams consuming BW data (e.g. SAC, BO, third‑party BI tools)
\n
- Apply established BW modeling, transport, and security best practices
\n
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
\n
- Participate in testing activities and support business users during validation phases
\n
\nWhat You’ll Bring Along\n
\n
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
\n
- At least 4 to 8 years of hands‑on experience in SAP BW or BW on HANA roles
\n
- Strong experience with: ADSOs, CompositeProviders, and InfoObjects
\n
- Process Chains and data load monitoring
\n
- Delta handling and data reconciliation
\n
- Practical experience extracting data from S/4HANA or ECC systems
\n
- Familiarity with CDS‑based and ODP extraction frameworks
\n
- Basic understanding of HANA push‑down concepts and BW performance optimization
\n
- Experience with BW authorization concepts
\n
- Ability to work independently from functional specifications or business requirements
\n
- Experience supporting BW in project delivery and/or operational support environments
\n
- Comfortable working with international and distributed teams
\n
- Nice to have: exposure to BW/4HANA or SAP Datasphere
\n
- Experience supporting SAC consumption on top of BW
\n
- Participation in BW on HANA migrations, upgrades, or S/4HANA transitions
\n
- Basic knowledge of cloud or hybrid data platforms (Azure, Snowflake, Databricks)
\n
- Interest in SAP’s evolving data and analytics roadmap (e.g. Datasphere, Business Data Cloud)
\n
- Strong communication skills and fluent English; German is a plus
\n
