Ph3About The Role /h3 pAs part of the Mechanical Engineering group within Global Manufacturing (GM), you will contribute to day‑to‑day technical activities, operating under general direction while receiving clear guidance on new assignments. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to learn by actively contributing to engineering tasks and supporting ongoing projects in a structured and collaborative environment. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams and regularly interface with external laboratories and suppliers, gaining exposure to real industrial processes and technical coordination activities. The role is based in our RD site in Bologna (Casalecchio Isonzo) and offers a flexible, modern working environment, including smart working options to support work‑life balance. /p pWe particularly welcome applications from candidates belonging to protected categories (art. 1 Law 68/99) appartenente alle categorie protette – art. 1 L.68/99). /p h3The Impact You’ll Make /h3 ul liSupport the end‑to‑end creation of mechanical samples by actively contributing to design finalization and assisting in hands‑on manufacturing (e.g., 3D printing, machining), ensuring efficient and high‑quality delivery. /li liAssist in developing, refining, and validating jigs and test equipment, supporting the transition from initial concepts into robust setups and supporting execution of verification testing. /li liEnable accurate product and component development by supporting advanced measurements activities (including 3D scanning) and collaborating with external suppliers when specialized capabilities are required. /li liContribute to optimizing manufacturing and refurbishment processes for components and modules, learning how to select appropriate tools, equipment, and methods aligned with project needs. /li liContribute to standardizing test and measurement processes, improving consistency, reliability, and scalability across projects. /li liSupport the preparation and organization of high‑quality technical documentation covering mechanical and hydraulic developments, supporting knowledge sharing and traceability. /li liCollaborate closely with cross‑functional teams, suppliers, and external partners to exchange expertise, solve technical challenges, and drive continuous improvement. /li liSupport the team in organizing activities with a structured and methodical approach, learning how to plan work effectively, monitoring progress, and maintaining alignment with timelines and budget targets. /li liSupport innovation by taking part in complex measurements and development challenges, proposing improvements, and contributing ideas for future product and process enhancements. /li /ul h3The Skills And Knowledge You’ll Bring /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or mechanical‑focused secondary studies. /li liGood understanding of 2D mechanical drawings, with familiarity in 3D modeling considered an advantage. /li liGood knowledge of Microsoft Office tools with the ability to support the creation of clear and structured reports. /li liHands‑on experience or interest in additive manufacturing technologies. /li liBasic familiarity with machining tools such as milling machines, drilling machines, and lathes. /li liGood manual skills and a passion for prototyping and hands‑on product development. /li liBasic knowledge of metrology and measurement techniques. /li liFluency in English, both written and spoken. /li liA collaborative mindset with strong teamwork skills and a team‑player attitude. /li liCuriosity and passion for technologies that enable and accelerate product development. /li liA proactive approach with a willingness to learn, grow, and continuously develop new skills. /li /ul h3What We’ll Give You In Return /h3 ul liA competitive monthly internship allowance, together with meal vouchers. /li liAn internship experience of 6 months, or up to 12 months for candidates belonging to protected categories (art. 1 Law 68/99). /li liA hybrid working model, which combines office and home working. /li liHigh‑growth environment, offering exciting learning opportunities and exposure. /li liInclusive working culture and strong team spirit; we embrace our international community and diversity as a competitive advantage. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
