Support the implementation of the production equipment, maintenance and improvement with associated policies. /p ul liManage the plant approved projects based on defined priorities, timeframes and costs, define equipment and related specifications, layouts, technical specifications and select suppliers. Guide the activities pertaining to suppliers, support the assembly and installation of equipment, testing and production start‑ups and in case of delays or deviations, define corrective action in coordination with TAM. /li liContinuously seek the best technical solutions to maximize plant equipment efficiency and reliability including maintenance, engineering, energy savings and safety. /li liEnsure constant analysis of maintenance data in terms of breakdowns, preventative maintenance and costs and suggest interventions for continuous improvements of equipment. /li liSupport the TAM in defining the investment plan, suggesting interventions and managing phases of R.C.A. (Request for Capital Appropriation) definition and feasibility analysis. /li liSupport and conduct tests on new equipment and modifications to existing equipment in compliance with safety and environmental regulations. /li liEnsure consistent updating of records and documents concerning plant equipment. /li liAssist maintenance techs in maintenance activities as needed. /li liResponsible for developing, coaching, engaging the maintenance techs assigned to the supervisor’s authority in the areas of operating in safe environment, driving accountability and controlling cost containment. /li liAssists maintenance in solving problems and provides mentoring on the use of effective problem‑solving methodologies. /li liResponsible for effective intra‑shift communication with production supervisors and work stakeholders regarding improved techniques, critical production information, status of production runs, etc… /li liDevelop training plans for new hires and continuous development of maintenance techs. /li liMaintains proper staffing levels while administrating employee benefits of vacation and personal time. /li liManage Maintenance Techs ensuring compliance with company policies including attendance program with direct reports. /li liPerforms annual performance evaluations with direct reports. /li liCoaches and develops maintenance tech through pay for skills. /li liWork and communicate well with others and effectively contribute to the working relationships within Barilla America. /li liThis position will follow and promote all Quality and FS procedures to ensure compliance with FSSC22000, regulatory, quality, customer, and company requirements. /li liOther duties as assigned. /li /ul pbExperience: /b /p ul liAA degree in Management or a maintenance related field with BS in Engineering preferred. /li liMinimum of three years’ experience in a supervisory role in a maintenance or manufacturing environment or five years of progressive leadership roles in manufacturing/maintenance environment. /li liMust have broad range of maintenance experience including electrical, mechanical, machining, PLC’s, welding, VFD’s, computerized maintenance systems and experience in installation of new equipment, start up and commissioning. /li liKnowledge of manufacturing processes and GMP’s preferred. /li liKnowledge of food safety, HACCP and appropriate supporting programs (e.g. cleaning, sanitation, pest management, etc.) is preferred. /li liKnowledge of ISO standards and systems, including ISO 22000 and ISO 9001 is preferred. /li liFood manufacturing facility experience is preferred. /li /ul pbWe offer /b /p pHealthcare, dental, and vision - 1st of the month after hirebr/401k match up to 6% /p pWellness Subsidy /p pTuition Reimbursement /p pPet Insurancebr/Disability Insurancebr/Adoption Assistance /p pBarilla is an equal opportunity employer.
